"Little Kick, Lots of Flavor"


Rojo Gold Cheese Dip

Everyone loves this cheese dip. It is always a hit at home and at parties and is very simple to make.  

1 jar of Rojo Gold Salsa (16 ounces)
1 lb. of Velveeta or American Cheese (diced in 1/2" ~ 1" squares)
1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
1/2 tsp. black pepper (optional)

Pour one jar of Rojo Gold Salsa into a medium size pot.  Heat on medium until a slight boil.
Add diced Velveeta. Reduce heat to low. Stir constantly until Velveeta is completely melted.
Add salt and pepper as needed.

Pour contents into a bowl and let stand until warm.

Serve warm or cold with your favorite Tortilla chips.

Refrigerate left overs.

Yield: Approximately 24 ozs.

Rojo Gold Chili

This chili is simple to make and tastes great!

1lb.              Ground beef or ground chuck
1 jar             Rojo Gold Medium Salsa
1 can            Chili beans with sauce
1.5 Tbl.        Chili powder
1 Tsp.           Cumin
1 Tsp.           Salt

Brown ground beef or ground chuck in a medium size pot. Drain grease.
Add all ingredients and bring to boil stirring occasionally. Reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.

Serve over elbow pasta, and garnish with shredded cheddar cheese.
